Touch

As a piano is played, parts wear and the touch sensitivity is lost.  you might find it difficult to play softly or have notes repeat well or in some cases not at all.

We do service for touch

the time required will vary depending on 
1. the level of work required

Tone

As notes are played the hammer impacts the string every time the
string compacts creating a brighter harsher tone.
You can look the strings at the hammers and on any piano that is used you'll see hammer groves
​indicating the need for service.

Hammers can be reshaped once or twice
eventually they will need to be replaces

Broken things

Action Parts break and need repair or replacement
Strings break and need replacing

Sticky keys can happen to any piano.
